The aim of this ‘Team Leadership Course’ is to help Team Leaders and Managers develop the skills and behaviours required to motivate, empower and inspire their team members to perform at their very best.
Research shows that people don’t leave their job; they leave their manager. The responsibility of an Inspiring Leader is to understand their Purpose and ensure that it is demonstrated everyday in What they do and How they do it.
This Team Leadership Course is delivered by multi award winning Trainer Jacqui Turner. For 2 consecutive years Turner Corner led by Jacqui, has been awarded Best Customer Service Training Provider. She was also awarded Welsh Contact Centre Trainer of the Year in 2014, whilst employed as the Leadership Trainer For Tesco. Jacqui has also been named within the Top 15 Global CX Influencers in 2024.
During this course you will…
- Describe the importance of creating a “High Performance Culture” and identify your responsibilities as a Leader.
- Identify your ‘Why’ and your Values and explore ways in which you can bring them to life through what you do each day and how you do it.
- Recognise the importance of getting to know each team member through every day conversations.
- Explore the importance of creating a ‘Circle of Safety’, where team members thrive and feel inspired to go over and above.
- Learn the importance of setting meaningful objectives and inspirational Personal Development Plans that stretch and motivate your team.
- Feel confident holding everyday coaching conversations, which will empower your team.
- Explore the difference between Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation and learn ways to develop long-term motivation amongst your team.
- Identify ways to create trust with your team and learn how to avoid the factors that can easily break it.
- Develop an action plan that will help you achieve success.
