The findings from a national study by Oxford Economics in 2014 found that, on average, each member of staff that leaves costs an employer £30,614 to replace.
A survey of over 3,000 employees found over 22% left their last job due to lack of faith in the leadership team, 19% quit because they felt “unappreciated” while another 19% left because they felt “disengaged and unmotivated.”
I have therefore uploaded a video which tells you all about the Leadership Challenge that I started on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. It’s great that the YouTube audience can now get involved.
My aim is to encourage as many managers, at all levels, to take part in the weekly challenges.
Each Challenge will work towards creating a great working environment, where teams feel inspired and motivated to achieve great performance as well as being empowered to make decisions and problem solve.
